Brent Hood

Brent Hood is a versatile, hard working, proven musician. A long served, experienced singer/songwriter, and an energetic live performer. He has been serious about music since 2001 (age 13) and has been passionate ever since.

His songwriting fronted many bands throughout his teenage years and it also helped develop his solo material. Writing, producing and sharing his music on social media platforms ever since 2004, he soon started forming relationships with other musicians from all over the world. He worked with record labels and supported many signed acts on their UK tours.

His last band, Break The Stereotype, gained a record contract with independent label, Righteous Records in 2011. However, the band split after Brent left due to contractual differences. He then kick started his solo career in mid-2012 and then went on to release his first official solo single, 'It's Not Easy' on the 5th November 2012 via online music stores iTunes and Amazon.

After the success of his debut single, Brent went on to sign with a London based artist management company. He then released his 2nd single, 'Obstacles' on the 1st April 2013 which led to a bigger, stronger fanbase worldwide.

Due to the success of both singles, he was then chosen to feature on BBC Introducing. He went on to perform on BBC radio and done 4 live acoustic tracks. This lead to the BBC playlisting the live recording of his single 'Obstacles'. Later on, radio station, Rock & Pop Radio decided to playlist the original recording of 'Obstacles' which is still played week in, week out. Both the BBC and Rock & Pop Radio have agreed to play more of Brent's music once his debut album is released.

Brent is currently adding the finishing touch to the tracks for his debut album. It is due for release in the new year and will feature approximately 10 tracks.
