Scottish singer/songwriter Paul Carella has had a hunger for music since a very young age. One of his earliest memories is singing Elvis Presley songs in his parent’s living room at the age of four but that hunger was stifled for many years by a crippling shyness, Which Paul eventually broke through to become the artist he is today.
Inspired by artists such as Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash, Bruce Springsteen and Glen Hansard . Paul has perfected his craft as a musician playing in pubs and clubs in Glasgow before moving to London in 2009 to further his career. Since then Paul has released two studio albums working with some of the UK’s top producers, which was followed by a 10 date tour in Nashville, Tennessee supporting Alan Price (The Animals) and award winning L.A singer/songwriter Steve Carlson.
Pauls new single ‘Red Sole Woman’ is a song about being on the road away from your partner and how strong the bond of love is between that partnership and the excitement of seeing each other when you get home. Paul has matured into an artist of the people, writing songs about day to day life, relationships, hardships, topics that the people can really relate to. Beside woking towards releasing his E.P this year, Paul Carella has supported renowned artists such as Alabama 3 and Steven Craddock.
‘Red Sole Woman’ is out on the 7th OF November.
